Moving is considered the third most stressful event after death and divorce, according to statistics. As grim as that may sound, it says a lot about the emotional upheaval and stress associated with the transition. It’s not just packing and unpacking your stuff but it’s akin to starting over from a scratch.
Though there are positives to be considered in favor of moving. Getting settled into a new city or a bigger place is certainly exciting. New people, culture and an opportunity to start afresh are a big plus too. While it may not be a walk in the park, with a little preparation it can certainly be a lot less stressful.
