You’ve Got 5 Minutes, Use it to Exercise
I know everyone has an excuse or two of not doing any exercise. Even if you have a tight schedule - if you have 5 minutes to take a break, use it and improve your health - do some exercise. Healthbolt has released a 5 minutes exercise schedule to kill your lack-of-exercise excuses:
- Minute 1: Stretch
- Minutes 2, 3 and 4: Push-ups
- Minute 5: Stretch Again
Easy ah?

When life becomes completely proffesional, you simply have no time to focus on health activities.

I’m not sold on the idea.
If you’re scrabbling for 5 minutes in your life, chances are you’re in a professional setting (as mentioned by the previous commenter). Even just three minutes of press ups will raise a little bit of a sweat, not really something you want to have in your office or carry into your next meeting.

Like the idea VERY MUCH, but have to fully second the first two comments. Business people cannot afford to use the break for any situation that would make them sweatty, unless they are able to refresh and change.
Therefore even recreational-like activities on the way to the office, are out of the question for us.
This, however, does not mean I’ve given up on brainstorming upon other possibilities of incorporating and blocking even small amounts of exercise into my schedule. Cannot say that I have stumbled upon an acceptable solution, but might be getting there…
Which means I have to think of more creative ways to achieve the same thing.

So, you guys (or gals) don’t have any time to do it before you go to bed? Or when you wake up in the morning? Just wake up 5 minutes earlier, and you have time. Take a shower afterwards, like you normally do.
