Losing weight and eating right can be expensive, but it doesn’t have to be. That’s why Joy Bauer of Greatist has created this useful guide to help you revamp your diet on three different budgets. In her fridge makeover, she suggests the $60 strategically thrifty option for those without much extra cash lying around. This method to revamp your diet includes stocking up on foods with whole grains, getting ground turkey in place of beef, and adding a lot of cheap fruits and veggies to your diet.
For the $110 option to revamp your diet, she suggests adding a few tasty treats like skinless chicken, hummus, sunflower seeds, shrimp, pineapple and dark chocolate. If you have $155 available to revamp your diet, then follow the suggestions from the other options, but add on lentils, pumpkin, Greek yogurt, wine and organic fruits and vegetables.
