Read RSS in Google Way: Google Reader
Google is catching up on the RSS services trend. Google has released another web services called Google Reader – It is a RSS reader which able you to read web feeds in web browser. The interface is quite simple and very similar to Gmail. Some good features include: Keyboard shortcuts for navigation; Able to star posts for later references; and able to tag the posts into your label list. See if you like it – Remember to add lifehack.org’s feed (http://www.lifehack.org/feed/) while you at it. :)

All I can say is: I hope Google inproves on their beta. Other than the “WOW! AJAX” feeling, I hated the interface.

I tried it and found it difficult to see which blogs had new posts. It is very similar in looks to gmail. I don’t think I’m ready to switch over from bloglines just yet. Although it was very easy to import my current rss feeds in google reader. I’m gonna wait awhile.

@Stephen, Tim: I got the same feeling. My ideal web Feed Reader would be the mixture of bloglines with some google features like tagging and keyboard shortcuts. Really, Google Reader has a bit of usability issues.

Good featurethat you can import from OPML file. Yahoo does not have it.
Did not work in Opera :-(

It is already possible to read RSS feeds in a browser – Opera.
The feed reader within Opera seems to work quite satisfactorily (haven’t tried any others so I can’t compare).
Of course the web-based service would be more useful if you frequently work away from, or don’t have, your own computer.
