Interrogate Your Boss

Paul over at Partial Lobotomy has a great post about the kinds of questions that can be helpful to an employee-supervisor relationship.

Ok, maybe “interrogate” is a little strong. Ask questions. Ask questions! Not just the obvious ones, but probing questions about what’s going on in your and his world. Among the most revealing questions to ask: How am I doing? What should I be doing differently? What’s going on in your (the boss’s) world right now? Your boss probably has interesting things to say about all of these things but most will not share unless asked.

It’s well written and has lots of interesting questions to consider throwing at your boss when the time is right.
