Instacalc: A powerful online calculator
Instacalc is a different kind of calculator. First of all it is online, but interactive – it allows you to view answer as you type. It is a slim down version of spreadsheet, which it has number of useful function calls and graph drawing functionality. Another interesting feature is sharing, which you can insert a javascript snippet into your web page.
Cool eh? This is pretty useful for doing some quick calculations, but normal calculator couldn’t do justice because it is too simple, or spreadsheet is an overkill for it.

It could be faster then windows calc only if you have fast internet access. Actually, functionality of instacalc is great, but I wait 12 sec until the page was downloaded. Pressing Windows+R and type ‘calc’ is much more faster.
I have another solution for simple calculations, if you have just command line in your disposal. Type something like this:
set /a 1+2
… and you have an instant result 3
set /a (570-416)*2151
…and you have an instant result 331254
Typing is faster then clicking ;)

Thanks for the feedback! Right now the site is getting quite a bit of traffic, but it should load quickly on subsequent visits because it is cached in your browser.
I have a few ideas to make page loads as quick as you need, stay tuned :)

I like this calculator as well eCalc – Online Calculator It has quite a few features like support for complex numbers, unit conversion, decimal to fraction, equation solving, and binary conversion tool. It is a great tool and has it’s place. I also like instcalc. These are two tools I use regularly.
