Burnout can happen to anyone – I had couple of burnouts recently. Sometimes it is hard to deal with it. Over To-Done, Kevin has some good tips on how to recover from burnout:

  • Learn to recognize burnout.
  • Take some time off.
  • Get some sleep.
  • Play.
  • Eat.
  • Work on something new or different.
  • Work on something you love.

I really like the first tips. It is hard to even recognize the fact that you are burning out from your tasks or things that happen in your life. For me, it maybe lack of motivation on the tasks on hand. It maybe unable to concentrate on important projects. Whatever it is, recognizing your burnout pattern and acting on it by using some good tips from Kevin.
