How Do You Say “Thank You”?

Bert Webb over Open Loops talks about some ideas to reward your employees. In the organization especially the non-profits, where you do not have full control on salary, how do you reward your employees for the extra efforts? Bert mentions it is not only monetary incentives that you can do to recognize ones performance and efforts, there are couple of other ways:

  • Thank You cards
  • Recognition programs
  • Letters of commendation
  • Special occasion recognition
  • Special parking privileges
  • Empowerment
  • Regular connection time

I can see those are some good ideas which can also be applied to appreciate the efforts from your colleagues as well.
