Careful, if overconsumed, green tea can zap you of your ability to absorb iron. Great in moderation.

Green Tea is also high in fluoride which can cause problems if you are are hypo-thyroid. Too much of anything is usually bad…except GTD tips.

If only green tea could eliminate this pain in my left knee. Other than that, I drink 2-3 cups daily.

If you are concerned about caffeine, throw away the first cup. You can use the same leaves to make several cups. The first infusion will have the highest caffeine content. The second infusion, which is usually the best, and any others will have almost no caffeine. In fact, for most green teas (buy it loose, not in teabags), the rule of thumb of is to throw out the first cup. White and oolong teas also improve on the the second infusion. Black teas generally do not.
