Greatest Tools #6: Enormous Standard Screwdriver
The gigantic standard screwdriver is number 6 on my “Greatest Tools of All Time List.” But, it needs to be a Craftsman so that you can take advantage of that wonderful “no questions asked” tool replacement guarantee.
Here are a few of the greatest uses.
- Prying
- Chiseling
- Lifting
- Splitting
- Mutilating
- Jamming through a stubborn oil filter
- Throwing to stick in the ground.
- Holding your dog leash pegged to the ground
- Cross jumping a starter
- Propping up your hood (but you need to put it near the spring)
What are your best uses?

I can’t help but laugh that you say the standard screwdriver is one of the greatest tools and you have a picture of a phillips head screwdriver instead.

This tool list is so funny because it’s true. I’m getting a huge kick out of it.
It is completely opposite the elagant solutions presented on “home improvement” shows.
I had a hunch I wasn’t the only dude vice-gripping, duct-taping, and screw-driver-stabbing my world together.
