Google Calendar GreaseMonkey Todo List Addon
Matias Pelenur has created a GreaseMonkey script for adding a todo list into Google Calendar. This is pretty cool addon for extending Google Calendar to be a Google Organizer.
This is a prototype for a script to add a To-do list to Google Calendar. As of this writing it stores to-do entries in the GM local store, which means that each of your firefox installs/computers will have its own list.

Hi, thanks for mentioning this script. Anyone who’d like to know when I update it so you can share todo lists through Google Calendar across computers, please feel free to subscribe to the RSS feed at my blog. Also, if userscripts.org is not working, you can install the script directly (once you have the Greasemonkey Firefox extension) through http://matiaspelenur.com/greas.....st.user.js

This is a great little add-on!

Now this is a cool script. It would be sweet though if it saved information to your Gdrive so that it worked no matter where you are; however, I’m sure Google is bring that down the line.

Matias:
This is fabulous.
Have you considered creating an event far in the past, and using its comments to track todo list items? Just an idear. I think direct calendar integration would be wonderful. :)

Ahab,
Yes, thanks for the suggestion. That was my original idea, it’s just that there’s no current good API to store and update entries in Google Calendar programtically. I’m waiting for them to enable the web-authentication part of the Google Calendar API (still “coming soon”), but as soon as that’s done expect to see entries being stored within a calendar entry.
If you want to keep track of updates to the script, please subscribe to the RSS feed at my blog, blog.matiaspelenur.com.

Does this extension support ICal syncing?

Thanks for posting, I really like this- I tried syncing Remember the Milk with my Gcal and everything looked too cluttered, this is much cleaner and easier to read events. What I was actually searching for when I found this script was just a simple shopping list feature I could add to my Gcal. I have my gcal synced with my cell phone, I think it would be cool if I could have a simple shopping list sent to my phone from gcal while I’m doing grocery shopping.
