- Send the best clients holiday gifts.
- Give referrals of their products and services often.
- And work the hell out of search engine optimization (my words).

Great ideas from Heidi! And something such as sending a handwritten thank-you note is all part of follow-through, which most of us aren’t always good at. It’s loads of fun to make 10 new contacts at a networking event, but pointless if we don’t follow up with them and build on those connections.
I’m decent at follow-through, but I could certainly do better. Any life hacks you can suggest for that?
