    Thanks for the great links - I’m always on the lookout for presentation tips to share with the faculty and students at my school. I don’t see, however, any links in this article dealing with actually creating interesting and engaging PowerPoint slides. I’ve started pulling together some tips and guidelines myself, and would love some feedback. I’ve published the first four tips here:

    The next tips will deal with storyboarding, creating customized themes and creating innovative, interactive slides. I’m sure there are many tips and suggestions out there, and I’d love to hear them.

    A couple of ways to make presentations more interesting are to

    1. embed video in your PowerPoint slides - lots of free material on YouTube etc available.

    2. Use an interactive whiteboard to make the presentation and discussion questions more inclusive of the audience. There is an overview of Interactive Whiteboards below
